We enter the top five of our countdown with Texas A&M left-handed pitcher Asa Lacy.

A former 31st round pick by the Cleveland Indians, Lacy has a career ERA of 2.32 in two years with the Aggies.

As a freshman in 2018 he worked mostly out of the bullpen and posted a 2.75 ERA in 39.1 innings with 48 strikeouts and a BAA of .200.

That summer he went 3-1 in the Alaska Summer League with a 2.16 ERA in 33.1 innings with 47 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.08.

He carried that into his sophomore season with Texas A&M where he became one of the best pitchers in the country by posting a 2.13 ERA in 88.2 innings with 130 strikeouts and a BAA of .162.

The big 6-foot-5 lefty throws a fastball that sits in the mid-90s with a devastating change-up that is MLB-ready.

He also throws a curveball and a slider. The development of those two pitches will determine just how high his ceiling can be at the next level.
