Right-handed pitcher Cole Henry comes in at 45 on our College Baseball Daily Top 100 Countdown.

Henry was drafted in the 38th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers.

Instead, he went to LSU and was an All-SEC Freshman player after becoming the number one weekend starter for the Tigers.

He posted a 3.39 ERA as a freshman with 72 strikeouts in 58 innings pitched with a 1.17 ERA.

The 6-foot-4 righty threw two scoreless innings this fall in the team’s Purple and Gold game.

Henry will be a draft-eligible sophomore in 2020 and if he takes another step forward and is able to go deeper into games, he could be one of the top college pitchers in the 2020 MLB Draft.
