We kick off our 2020 College Baseball Daily Top 100 countdown with Wright State junior infielder Damon Dues.

Dues only got 41 at-bats as a freshman in 2018 but hit .317 with a .462 OBP. That summer he hit .400 in just 35 at-bats in the Prospect League.

This past season he continued hitting the ball well with a .307 average in 163 at-bats and a .466 OBP. He scored 53 runs, hit 4 home runs, stole 28 bases, and walked 52 times while striking out just 29 times.

In the summer he split time between the Coastal Plain League and Cape Coe League where he hit a combined .224 in just 49 at-bats, but he did steal 7 bases and had an OBP over .300.

Dues is that old school top of the lineup hitter that is going to get on base and steal some bags.

If he can continue to hit for average and add a little power in his junior year, Dues could become a very intriguing MLB Draft prospect.
