Undrafted coming out of high school, Braden Shewmake was one of the best freshman in the country in 2017.

For Texas A&M that season he hit .328 in 274 at-bats with 47 runs scored, 18 doubles, 11 home runs, 69 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and a .374 on-base percentage.

He had a major dip in the extra base hits as a sophomore with just 7 doubles and 5 home runs, but he still hit .325 with a .395 on-base percentage to go along with 41 runs scored, 45 RBI, and a 12 stolen bases.

This past summer he spent time with the US Collegiate National team.

With a tall, skinny frame at 6-foot-4 he has the skillset and arm strength to stick at shortstop, but if not he is very comfortable at second base as well.

I would love to see the power numbers creep back up in his junior season, but there is no question this guy can hit.
