We continue the countdown today at number 57 with Arkansas sophomore RHP Ryne Stanek. The Overland Park, Kansas native attended Blue Valley High School. His senior year saw him go 5-1 with a 0.72 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 48 innings. He picked up several awards including being named Kansas City Star Player of the Year, All-Metro Player of the Year Proline Pitcher of the Year, first team all-state and first team all-EKL. The Seattle Mariners selected him with the 99th overall selection and third round pick but he decided to head to Arkansas. Continue reading
