Florida Gators fourth year head coach Kevin O’Sullivan recently sat down with Scott Carter of Gatorzone.com to discuss the upcoming season. The Gators have been ranked as the number 2 team in the country by the 2011 Preseason Collegiate Baseball News poll. They return eight regular position players and 11 pitchers from last year’s squad that qualified for the College World Series before going 0-2 to end their season. He names both Ray Tanner from South Carolina and John Savage from UCLA who faced off in the CWS Championship Series which was won by the Gamecocks two games to none.
