Top 100 Countdown: 37. A.J. Reed (Kentucky)

AJReedCollege Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2013 college baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be adding players day-by-day until we get to number one!

2013 SEC Preseason Coaches Poll

SEC Circle Gold Letters on White BackgroundThe Arkansas Razorbacks are predicted to win the 2013 Southeastern Conference baseball championship, as voted by the league’s 14 baseball coaches in the 22nd annual preseason SEC poll.

The Razorbacks, ranked No. 1 nationally in the preseason USA Today Coaches’ Poll, seek to capture their third SEC Championship and first since 2004. 2013 CBD Season Preview: SEC East

Top 100 Countdown: 59. Trevor Gott (Kentucky)

Gott at HCC-2College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2013 college baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be counting down the players day-by-day until we reach number 1.

We continue the countdown today at number 59 with Kentucky junior RHP Trevor Gott. The Lexington, Kentucky native attended Tates Creek High School where he was a five year letter winner under coach Dom Fucci. As a senior, he posted a 6-0 record and a 1.12 ERA with 76 strikeouts in 47.1 innings. He was named all-state as a junior and senior, earning regional player of the year accolades while being named first-team all-city for three seasons. Continue reading Top 100 Countdown: 59. Baylor names Adam Revelette Director of Baseball Operations

WACO, Texas – Baylor head coach Steve Smith announced the addition of Adam Revelette to his staff as director of baseball operations on Thursday.

Revelette will handle all practice and game video needs for coaches, coordinate team and recruiting travel, manage equipment and assist with on-campus recruiting visits, compliance and student-athlete services. Kentucky’s Trevor Gott leaves Cape League with Injury

Kentucky junior to be RHP Trevor Gott has left the Orleans Firebirds with a shoulder injury. He suffered the injury in Friday night game and headed back to Lexington to have it checked out.
