All of the top 35 teams were scheduled to be in action but number nine ranked Cal-State Fullerton was rained out at Long Beach State. The only ranked matchup was between the Stanford Cardinal who visited the Rice Owls. Here are some of my thoughts on the first night of action in College Baseball. The Cotuit Kettleers won the 2010 Cape Cod Baseball League title by grabbing a 6-0 victory over Yarmouth-Dennis to win Game 3 of the CCBL Championship Series. Brady Rodgers (Arizona State) started for the Kettleers going on 2.1 innings while giving up three hits and two walks but let up zero runs before being lifted for Nick Tropeano (Stony Brook). Tropeano would pitch the rest of the game for the Kettleers without giving up a hit while walking three batters to pick up the win.
