USC Upstate Baseball Announces 56-Game 2010 Schedule

USCUpstate SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USC Upstate baseball team has proven, even with the move to Division I, that it is not afraid of a challenge, and the 2010 season will be no exception, as the Spartans will play 32 of its 56 games in 2010 against teams that finished 2009 with non-losing records, 21 against teams with 30 or more wins, 18 against teams with an RPI of better than 100 and seven against teams that competed in the NCAA Regionals, as head coach Matt Fincher announced the schedule on Monday.

Loyola Marymount Announce Schedule for 2010 Season

JasonGill LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Second-year Head Coach Jason Gill has announced a 2010 Loyola Marymount University baseball schedule that features 16 games against 2009 NCAA Regional teams, including a home-and-home two-game series against 2009 College World Series qualifier Cal State Fullerton. In just his first season as a Division I Head Coach last year, Gill guided LMU to its first West Coast Conference Championship appearance since 2005.

Liberty Baseball Releases 2010 Schedule

Lynchburg, Va. – The Liberty baseball team will play 25 games against teams which won 30 or more games last season, highlighting the Flames’ 2010 schedule, released today.

The Flames are scheduled to meet George Mason, Elon, Kennesaw State, Duke, Virginia Tech, UNC Wilmington, James Madison, St. John’s, Manhattan, along with Big South members Coastal Carolina and Winthrop, all winners of 30-plus games from a year ago.

The University of Texas 2010 Baseball Schedule

The University of Texas has put the final touches on their 2010 schedule. With the season starting on February 19th and ending the weekend before Memorial Day, this gives teams 14 weeks to play  a 56 game schedule. Texas will play 52 games in 2010, including 34 home contests. They start out the season with New Mexico State on opening weekend, followed by a visit from Stanford the following weekend. Afterward, Texas will travel to Houston, Texas for the Houston College Classic where they will be joined by Houston, Rice, Missouri, Texas Tech, and Texas Christian.
