Auburn, AL – The #16 Clemson Tigers used timely hitting and three crucial double plays on defense to defeat #14 Auburn 13-7 and capture the Auburn Regional title in front of 4,096 fans at Plainsman Park on Monday. Clemson, who finished the regional with a 3-1 record, improved to 41-22 on the season, while Auburn, who was 3-2 in the regional, ended its season with a 43-21 record.

Auburn, AL – Junior lefthander Casey Harman pitched a complete-game five-hitter to lead #16 Clemson to a 5-2 victory over #14 Auburn in the Auburn Regional in front of 4,096 fans at Plainsman Park on Saturday night. Clemson, who improved to 2-0 in the regional, upped its record to 40-21 on the season. It marked the 24th season that Clemson reached the 40-win mark. Auburn, who fell to 1-1 in the regional, dropped to 41-20 in 2010.

AUBURN, Ala. – Playing in front of a jam-packed Plainsman Park, Auburn used three home runs and the reliable relief pitching of Slade Smith and Austin Hubbard to pick up a 9-7 win over Jacksonville State in Auburn’s NCAA Regional opening game on Friday night. The win pushed top-seeded Auburn into the winner’s bracket, where it will face second-seeded Clemson at 6pm CT on Saturday.
The Auburn Tigers will be hosting an NCAA Regional this season which features the number 1 seeded Auburn Tigers, number 2 seeded Clemson Tigers, number 3 seeded Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, and number 4 seeded Jacksonville State Gamecocks.
