DALLAS – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 18th year with its 2015 weekly surveys. Polls will be circulated from Feb. 16-June 25 (weekly through June 3) following the 69th annual NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb., at TD Ameritade Park.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (NCBWA) — Thirty-seven players have been named to the initial watch list for the 11th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award, given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I baseball, the association announced Tuesday.
DALLAS – Vanderbilt has been selected No. 1 nationally in the 18th annual 2015 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Division I preseason poll. It’s the first preseason No. 1 ranking for the Commodores, and Vandy becomes the 13th different school to hold down the initial post since the NCBWA Division I polls began in 1998.

The group features numerous standouts from powers such as defending College World Series champion Vanderbilt, runner-up Virginia and 17 Division I conferences nationwide.
