CARY, N.C. – The USA Baseball Collegiate National Team had game four of its 17th USA vs. Chinese Taipei International Friendship Series canceled due to rain on Friday from Bill Coleman Field. Game four will not be rescheduled as the series finale between the U.S. and Chinese Taipei will be played on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina.
The two teams played until the bottom of the fourth inning before the tarp was pulled on to the field for a second time and the game was officially called. The United States was leading by the score of 4-0 before the rain. Team USA holds a 3-0 lead in the best-of-five series.
