We’ve been talking here at College Baseball Daily and we decided to put together a best uniforms ranking for the 2015 college baseball season. I am positive there will be a decent amount of shade being thrown so feel free to let us know your feelings in the comment section or direct it at @freemanteee on Twitter.

Now, this isn’t truly a “best of the best” list because schools like Stanford, Texas, Vanderbilt, etc. all have timeless uniforms and truly can’t be compared to other schools who keep revamping their jersey. So this article focuses primarily on the different jerseys and new direction uniforms are going in college baseball, in 2015.

  1. Arizona State Sun Devils: Sort of a classic feel to this old style jersey but ASU got it right with the yellow and maroon tops to go with the white pants and maroon caps. Impressive.

  1. Miami (Back in Black): Miami is a known competitor year in and year out for some of the best swagger on the field. Simply because of the ever coveted “U” but they make this list for their “Back in Black” tops that go very well with the gray pants and black hat. Good work fellas.

  1. Ole Miss Reds: The only thing wrong with the Ole Miss Script Red Jersey was that they didn’t wear it more. The red jersey with blue script lettering that read Ole Miss was a great sight to see this season and hopefully they wear them even more because it always seemed like they won with them on. The blue hat and red “M” made the look that much better.

  1. Coastal Carolina: CCU has long been known to rock some pretty flurecent digs with jerseys such as the teal COASTAL jersey and the teal and black jerseys they sport as well, but what takes the cake are their all black with teal lettering and a black cap with a teal “C.”

  1. Mississippi State: This season seemed to be full of gimmicky retro jerseys that resembled the old Astros jersey, one team that did retro right was MSU with their old time MSU uniform. WOW!

  1. Virginia Tech: It is hard not to put the Hokies higher on this list with the alternate jersey inspired by the St. Louis Cardinals. A few other teams did it as well, but we think VT did it best.

  1. South Carolina: The “other” USC comes in at No. 4 with their interlocking Carolina jersey. Something about that gray and black is simple but classic. Though they lose points with calling themselves “CAROLINA” with all the other “Carolina” schools in the country.

  1. UCLA: Adidas went crazy this year with the throwback uniforms in college baseball, and well, we are very appreciative! UCLA honored Jackie Robinson by wearing their “Bruins” throwbacks by Adidas. These uniforms are so fresh that we hope to see them next year, as well.

  1. Vanderbilt: Only at Vanderbilt will you get some of the best uniforms in 2015 and the absolute worst uniform in the country, obviously those black on black pinstripe uniforms that Vandy decided to go with were the worst. The best uniforms however, had to be, the cream whites.

  1. Oregon: You simply can’t talk uniforms without Oregon coming up in the conversation. It’s just impossible. Oregon’s worst uniforms are still better than some other programs best uniforms. I am a sucker for pinstripes and Oregon rocks their fair share of them, however, this year the best Oregon uniform was the silver “Duck” uniforms and they went extra hard with the “O” on the pant leg as well as the chrome batting helmets.
