SEC Tourney looking to move?

BirminghamNewsHooverThe Birmingham Barons are currently exploring the option of building a new downtown stadium in Birmingham leaving Regions Park without a baseball tenant for the 2012 season. This would be an interesting development as Regions Park has served as the home of the SEC Tournament 14 out of the last 15 years. Hoover has stated they will keep the stadium in pristine condition without a chief tenant but it could affect the SEC’s decision where to hold the 2012 tournament according to a report from The Birmingham News.
