State of the Site

Since we are now in the dead time of the college baseball season, I thought this would be a good chance to update the writers on the state of The College Baseball Blog. We have experienced immense amount of growth since our old blogger site back in 2005. We moved over to the current domain back in November of 2007.

Mark Rafferty and myself over the last year with help from a couple of contributors have written 209 articles since September 1st 2009. (FULL LIST) Late in the 2010 season, we added senior writer Katherine Hasenauer Cornetta who will be doing many features on players and coaches throughout the upcoming 2010-2011 school year.

We will start up our highly anticipated 2011 Top 100 countdown in the beginning of October. The other big news is that we will be previewing all 32 conferences this year to give our readers a look at all the schools across the country.

What do you like on the site right now? Do you want to see more Live Chats? Live Game Coverage? Etc…

Remember, I run this site for the fans of college baseball and try to give an unbiased opinion on players across the country. If you like to donate to the site, feel free to click here or send me an email by clicking here.

Dear Brian, Thanks so much for the great work you do covering college baseball. My son is entering his freshman year at a D1 school so i have really tuned in over the last year or so. His team just had their first meeting today and the excitement is already starting to build. Thanks again for the great site and coverage you and your team providern Sincerely, KB
