Arkansas State helps out Salvation Army

Arkansas State ASU head baseball coach Tommy Raffo and the Red Wolves baseball team got into the giving spirit of the holidays and participated in the Salvation Army’s third annual “Celebrity Bell Ringers Event” Saturday, Dec. 5 at different locations across Jonesboro.

The team rang bells at the Wal-Mart on Highland Drive, Wal-Mart on Parker Road, Hobby Lobby, JC Penny, K-Mart, Sam’s Club and Kroger in Jonesboro.

The “Celebrity Bell Ringers Event” is one of the largest fundraisers for the Salvation Army with 100 percent of the funds raised that day benefiting the charitable organization.
