Cal-State Fullerton SS Christian Colon Injured

ChristianColon Cal-State Fullerton and current member of the United States Collegiate National Team was injured in the eighth inning on Friday night when Canadian Nic Lendvoy slid hard into second base to break up a double play. Both benches ended up clearing on the play but order was quickly restored. Colon was carried off the field as his current condition is unknown. This could be an injury which could affect Colon during Fall Ball but he has about six months to get ready for the regular season.

 

UPDATE #1: Kendall Rogers of Rivals.com is reporting that Colon has two broken bones in his leg and will have surgery in British Columbia before returning to the states. You can check out Kendall’s report by clicking here.
