Ogle earned the week six honor by going 6-10 with a double and three RBI in three games. Bolsinger, who shared the honor with East Texas’ Matt Click, had two starts with one win in 12 innings pitched and a 1.50 ERA. In those two games Bolsinger allowed only six hits and three walks while striking out 16. The pair contributed to a 4-1 Marshals record during the week.

Coppell returns to The Gabe tonight at 7:05 before an off day tomorrow for the Marshals, then a two-game set at Brazos Valley beginning Thursday, and a two-game set at Victoria beginning Saturday.

The Marshals next home game is Thursday, July 30th as we host the Victoria Generals.

East Texas Pump Jacks Vs. Victoria Generals postponed

Monday night’s scheduled game between the East Texas Pump Jacks and Victoria Generals has been postponed due to field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Tuesday beginning at 5:05 pm at historic Driller Park.

This means that the battle of the TCL’s top two teams will be compressed into a twin bill on Tuesday, giving the Jacks a chance to grab a share of the league lead by the end of the night.

The doubleheader will feature two seven inning games, the first one beginning at 5:05 pm. The second contest will begin 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Tuesday night will still be Kids Eat Free Night, with children 12 and under enjoying a meal of a hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Fans with tickets for Monday night’s game won’t be left out in the cold. The tickets can be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value to another regular season game, subject to availability. Exchanges can be made at the Pump Jacks office at 1100 Stone Road, Suite 120, in Kilgore, or at the Driller Park ticket office prior to a game.

After a day off on Wednesday, the Pump Jacks will conclude their homestand Thursday and Friday when the Coppell Copperheads visit for a pair of fan favorite promotions. Thursday will be Thirsty Thursday, when fans can beat the heat with $1 draft beers and 50-cent soft drinks all night long. Friday will mark the final Fireworks Friday of the season, presented by KLTV News, your East Texas news leader. For the final time this season, the Pump Jacks will light up the East Texas sky with a spectacular post-game fireworks show.

Tickets for the doubleheader, the rest of the week, and the remainder of the Jacks’ 2009 season schedule are on sale now.
