Canada’s final batter, Clapp, hit a ball down the right-field line that was just foul, and would have tied the game had it been fair. He flied out on the next pitch. Duensing, who retired ten of the eleven batters he faced, gets the win. Canada now has three straight one-run losses, and the bullpen didn’t get it done in this one.
