Georgia Tech 13, East Tennessee State 6

ATLANTA, Ga. — Georgia Tech scored 11 unanswered runs to rally back from a 6-2 deficit and beat the Buccaneers of East Tennessee State 13-6. Catcher Jason Haniger and first baseman Tony Plagman hit home runs for the Yellow Jackets. Charlie Blackmon and Brad Feltes added two hits each. Center fielder Jacob Fabry led the Buccaneers with 3 hits.

Game 2 of the mid-week series continues Wednesday at 6pm. Freshman RHP Brandon Cumpton (1-0, 4.88) takes the mound for the Yellow Jackets, facing ETSU’s senior LHP Matt McGahey (0-1, 6.91)
