The Citadel Bulldogs picked up a 8-3 victory over Winthrop on Tuesday evening. Matt Reifsnider picked up his first collegiate victory by going 5.0 innings while giving up three runs. He combined with Raymond Copenhaver and Link Saunders to pitch the final 6.0 innings without allowing a run. The Citadel offense was led by Zach Brown who went 2-4 with a homer. Winthrop was led on offense by Billy Froehlich who had a perfect night in getting a hit in each of his three official plate appearances while walking in his other at-bat. The Citadel will host Elon for a weekend set starting Friday while Winthrop faces Wake Forest on Wednesday in Rock Hill.
