Florida outfielder Wil Dalton was drafted in the 29th round by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2016 MLB Draft.

He decided to go the JUCO route and had a monstor season with Columbia State Community College.

There he hit .392 in 189 at-bats with 60 runs scored, 21 doubles, 15 home runs, 58 RBI, 16 stolen bases, and a .486 on-base percentage.

His average and on-base numbers took an obvious hit playing in the SEC with Florida dropping to .262 and .338 respectively, but his counting numbers remained.

Over 70 games and 275 at-bats he scored 60 runs, had 18 doubles, 19 home runs, 60 RBI, and 8 stolen bases.

His combination of power and speed is what makes him such an intriguing prospect. He profiles to be a power hitting corner outfielder at the next level with plus speed.
