Always known for their pitching, Vanderbilt righty Drake Fellows is next up for the commodores after two solid seasons.
As a freshman in 2017 he posted a 3.30 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched (10 starts) with 68 strikeouts and a 1.13 WHIP.
That following summer he made two starts in the New England Collegiate League and didn’t allow a run over 11 innings with 13 strikeouts.
That led to a breakout sophomore season in which Fellows became the ace of the Commodores with a 3.92 ERA in 96.1 innings pitched (16 starts) with 107 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.14.
He features one of the best breaking balls in the country, and he has a big frame at 6-foot-5, 205 pounds.
Look for him to take another step forward in 2019 as he sets himself for a big draft day.
