We go all the way out to Hawaii for our next player on the list with right-handed pitcher Dylan Thomas.
After a couple of solid seasons with the Rainbows, he was taken in the 38th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins.
However, he’ll return to Hawaii for his junior season hoping to improve his draft stock.
In 2017 he had a 2.01 ERA in 22 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts, 9 saves, and a WHIP of 1.03. And then in 2018 he was even better with a 1.85 in 39 innings pitched with 43 strikeouts, 14 saves, and a WHIP of 0.79.
Thomas went to the Cape Cod League and was just as impressive there with a 1.19 ERA in 22.2 innings pitched with 33 strikeouts and a WHIP of 0.90.
The talented pitcher for Hawaii is back in 2019 to prove he’s one of the best closers in the country.
