Another pitcher maybe flying under the radar is Lehigh righty Levi Stoudt. After two spectacular seasons, he’s ready to break out as a legit ace in 2019.
In 2017 he posted a 2.34 ERA in 61.2 innings pitched with 45 strikeouts and a 1.35 WHIP. That summer he had a 4.25 ERA in 29.2 innings pitched with 28 strikeouts in the Atlantic Collegiate League.
As a sophomore, he had a 3.03 ERA in 65 innings pitched with 67 strikeouts and identical WHIP from his freshman season of 1.35.
This past summer he threw 25.1 innings in the Cape Cod League with an ERA of 4.26 to go along with 26 punchouts, proving he can get the job done against the best in the country.
If the 6-foot-1 righty can put up another solid season, you could see him go fairly high in the upcoming MLB Draft.
