SAN ANTONIO — The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team has set its 2019 schedule, announced head coach Patrick Hallmark.
The 2019 schedule features marquee matchups with the University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas State and the University of Missouri.
The Cardinals will play 30 games at Daniel Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B, and have 56 games overall. UIW is set to open its season at home with a four-game series against Hofstra University, starting Friday, Feb. 15.
The Cardinals host five Southland Conference series, with matchups against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, University of New Orleans, Houston Baptist, Central Arkansas, and Southeastern Louisiana. They also travel to Sam Houston State, McNeese, Abilene Christian, Nicholls, and Northwestern State for SLC action.
UIW concludes its season at home, hosting Southeastern Louisiana on May 16-18.
