The UConn Huskies and East Carolina split a doubleheader on Friday afternoon at J.O. Christian Field in Storrs, Connecticut. In Game 1, ECU left fielder Bryant Packard going 3-4 with two homers and a double while driving in three runs to lead the Pirates to a 6-3 victory over the Huskies. In the second game of the doubleheader, UConn’s Michael Woodworth went 2-3 with a homer and two runs scored to lead the Huskies to the 4-2 victory in the final game held at J.O.
