MINNEAPOLIS – The D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25 poll was released on March 24 and Salisbury University remains at No. 2 for the second consecutive week. The Sea Gulls (17-3, 5-2 Capital Athletic Conference) received three first-place votes and 563 total points.

Eastern Connecticut State University is the fourth team this season to claim the No. 1 spot. The Warriors (10-0) received 17 first-place votes and 604 total points. University of Texas-Tyler (21-5) is No. 3 with 505 total points. Previous No. 1 Trinity (Conn.) College (8-2) drops to No. 4 with one first-place vote and 502 points. Millsaps College (22-3) rounds out the top five with three first-place votes and 502 points.

Capital Athletic Conference member York (Pa.) College enters the Top 25 for the first time this season at No. 21. The Spartans (16-2) received 141 total points. The Sea Gulls and Spartans close out the regular-season series on Sunday, March 29, at 1 p.m. with a doubleheader at Sea Gull Field.

SU will next travel to St. Mary’s (Md.) College on Wednesday, March 25, for a conference game at 3:30 p.m.
