Lamar will play its Fall World Series next week.

With the leaves changing colors and falling off the trees, it can mean only one thing for the Lamar baseball program – time for the end of fall practice and the 2008 Lamar Fall World Series.
The 46 players were divided up into two teams via a draft on Wednesday, with the seniors serving as captains. The Red and Gray teams will play a best-of-5 series beginning on Monday and running through Friday, if necessary. The 7-inning games will begin at 3 p.m. each day at Vincent-Beck Stadium.
