The Temple Owls fought off a furious comeback from the Delaware Blue Hens to win 5-4. The Owls led 5-0 heading into the bottom of the ninth before the Delaware offense woke up with four runs and the tying run in Bryan Hagerich on third with two outs and Ryan Engelhart at the plate. He proceeded to ground out to second base to give the Owls the victory. Temple was led by a 2-5 game from Dan Brady while Delaware’s offensive star was Bryan Hagerich who picked up two hits in the loss. Temple will be back in action on Wednesday when they go to St. John’s while Delaware hosts Saint Joseph’s.
