GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State has been selected as the 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball preseason favorite in a vote of the league’s 12 head coaches.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest head baseball coach Tom Walter has announced the team’s 2013 schedule, which includes 27 games against teams that participated in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Championship.
“This year’s schedule is formidable. With 27 games against teams that were in an NCAA Regional last year, we’ll need to be much more consistent than we were last season,” said Walter. “The good news is, I really like the make-up of our ballclub, and we have experience at the right positions. WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest baseball team will be traveling to the Dominican Republic December 16-22 to play six games against local competition, as announced by head coach Tom Walter.
The international trip will serve as a finale to the Demon Deacons’ annual fall ball practice schedule. With the trip to the Dominican not occurring until December 16, Wake Forest will not begin fall practice until November 1. Read the rest of this entry »
