FRESNO, Calif. – With a strong pitching performance and offense barrage of 42 runs, Fresno State completed a four-game sweep of Louisiana Tech on Sunday afternoon. La Tech managed just five hits against Bulldog pitching on Sunday as Fresno State won 8-0.

RUSTON, La. – Junior Gabe Jacobo hit home runs in each of his first three at bats as the Sacramento State Hornets defeated the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs by the score of 17-2 in seven innings on Thursday, April 3 at J.C. Love Field.
With the win, the Hornets improve to 11-15, 6-3 in Western Athletic Conference play, while the Bulldogs fall to 15-12, 2-6 in the WAC. BERKELEY, CALIF. – Sophomore right fielder/pitcher Blake Smith hit a clutch grand slam in the sixth inning and junior closer Matt Gorgen notched his fifth save of the season as the No. 7-ranked California baseball team edged Fresno State, 5-4, Wednesday at Evans Diamond. LONG BEACH– Reliever David Roberts (2-1) gave up three runs to Fresno State (16-13) in the seventh inning as No. 9-ranked Long Beach State (17-9) dropped their sixth-straight and remained winless on their season-long 10-game road trip, losing 7-6.

TAMPA, Fla. — Sophomore Chase Anderson struck out six batters and junior Trey Sperring had three RBIs in Oklahoma’s 6-1 victory on Tuesday over South Florida at Red McEwen field. The win improved the Sooners’ overall record to 16-5 while the Bulls fell to 10-7.
In his fourth start of the year, Anderson delivered his best outing as a Sooner, striking out a season-high six batters. Anderson (2-1), who struggled in his last start allowing four runs in 1 1/3 innings against Washington State, limited the Bulls’ offense on Tuesday to one run off five hits and two walks.
