Seattle University releases 2015 Schedule

CamChristianSeattleUSeattle University head baseball coach Donny Harrel and his staff have completed the 2015 competition schedule for the Redhawk baseball program, which includes a record 33 home games at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue as well as a special road trip across the country.

The Redhawks open the 2015 season with a four-game series against Saint Mary’s Feb. 13-15, followed by the first of four mid-week games throughout the season against the Portland Pilots Feb. 17, with each team hosting two games. Grand Canyon releases 2015 Schedule

Grand Canyon University head baseball coach Andy Stankiewicz today announced the 2015 schedule for the Antelopes, highlighted by 28 home games at Brazell Stadium and meetings against perennial baseball powers Cal Poly, Tennessee, and Oklahoma State.

Last season, as the Lopes made their return to Division I and Western Athletic Conference play, GCU boasted a 30-23 overall record, including a 19-8 conference mark, good enough for a second place finish in the WAC. Continue reading Grand Canyon releases 2015 Schedule

Sacramento State announces Facility Upgrades; Baseball included

Interview With New Mexico State Head Coach Brian Green

New Mexico State officially names Brian Green as Head Coach

UKBaseballLAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State University Athletics Director Dr. McKinley Boston announced on Friday, July 25 that Brian Green will be the 10th head coach in NM State baseball program history.

Green, a graduate of the 1995 class at New Mexico State, comes back to his alma mater after coaching for six seasons as an assistant at Kentucky. In 2014, he directed the best offense in college baseball and in Kentucky history. Green was UK’s offensive coordinator and infield defensive coach.

John Schuknecht is congratulated.SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly knocked around Sacramento State starter Justin Dillon for five runs in four innings and held on for a 6-5 victory.

Zack Zehner rocketed a solo homer in the second inning to put the Mustangs (47-11) up 2-0 and John Schuknecht provided a two-run double in the fourth inning to make it 5-1.
