Duke 8 Florida State 5 Tallahassee native Tony Bajoczky went 6.2 innings while giving up four runs on six hits to give the Duke Blue Devils their seocnd ACC win and Florida State’s first ACC loss. Duke was able to jump all over Michael Hyde in the second inning by knocking him out of the game on six hits and six runs in the inning. FSU 15 Duke 3 The Florida State offense continued their slaughter on ACC pitching with a 15-3 victory over the Duke Blue Devils in Game 1 of their weekend series. Tony Thomas Jr. had three hits on the night including two homers. He hit his first homer to lead-off the game and hit his other homer in the second inning when the Seminoles tacked on five runs. Florida State at Duke The Florida State Seminoles will leave the state of Florida for the first time this season when they head to Durham NC to take on the Duke Blue Devils. The Seminoles continued to shut down the BC Eagles bats in key situations.
