A Day in the Life of Oregon State’s Matt Boyd
Oregon State Media Relations recently put together a video about the Day in the Life of LHP Matt Boyd. He is a senior who was selected in the 13th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds but decided to return for his final season of eligibility. He spent the summer of 2012 in the Cape Cod Baseball League where he went 2-1 with a 4.33 earned run average in 27 innings while striking out 39 with seven walks and compiling a 1.11 WHIP. The San Diego Toreros baseball team has positioned itself at the top of the list of 2012-13 viral videos with its dance rendition of Korean pop star Psy’s Gangnam Style. This video was posted on the University of San Diego’s Spirit of the Torero Facebook page that supports the school’s athletic programs.

Troy Baseball “Awakening of the Bats”
The Troy Trojans have struggled at the plate during the first two weeks of the season scoring only five runs in their previous three games.
