BLACKSBURG – Sean Keselica had two hits and an RBI to lift Virginia Tech past Connecticut 3-1 in an elimination game at the NCAA Blacksburg regional held at English Field on Sunday afternoon.

Virginia Tech 9 Coastal Carolina 1
BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech got strong pitching from starter Devin Burke, and both Andrew Rash and Chad Pinder hit solo home runs to lift the Hokies to a 9-1 victory over Coastal Carolina in an NCAA regional game at English Field on Saturday afternoon.

Oklahoma 7 Coastal Carolina 3
BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Sooners were down but not out, rallying to defeat Coastal Carolina, 7-3, in their NCAA Regional opener at English Field Friday.

Fuller played the first two years of his college career at UConn-Avery Point before transferring to the main UConn campus in Storrs, CT for his final two seasons being named All-Big East Second Team as a junior. On Friday, the Connecticut Huskies returned to J.O. Christian field for the first time since mid-May for the annual UConn Baseball Scout Day. Coming off a 31-27-1 season, which ended in a Big East Tournament loss to USF, the 2013 Huskies will have many young players who are poised to compete for starting jobs. Head Coach Jim Penders, who notched his 300th win in 2012, returns to the helm for his 10th season and will be faced with many questions about how he will integrate the new class of freshman into the mix.
