Sixteen teams are looking toward the Super Regionals and among those teams are seven players on the College Baseball Hall of Fame’s Pitcher of the Year Semifinalist List.
The winner of the Pitcher of the Year Award, presented by Diamond, will be announced in Lubbock, Texas, on July 3 as part of the College Baseball Hall of Fame’s Night of Champions. Continue reading

Belmont 5 Troy 2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont baseball team (38-25) defeated Troy (43-19) by a score of 5-2 to advance to the NCAA Regional Championship against Vanderbilt on Sunday afternoon. The Bruins eliminated the Trojans and will have to top the Commodores twice in order to advance to a Super Regional next weekend. On a steamy night at Hawkins Field, Vanderbilt All-American Grayson Garvin extended his tremendous junior year and, in doing so, both set a school record with his thirteenth win and pushed Vanderbilt to the brink of Nashville’s first Super Regional. NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont baseball team (37-25) eliminated Oklahoma State (35-25) from the Nashville Regional with a 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon. It marks the first ever win for a Belmont University team in any sport in the NCAA Tournament.
