Toledo releases 2015 Schedule

CoryMeeToledo_thumb.jpgTOLEDO, OH – UT head coach Cory Mee announced the 2015 baseball schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The Rockets will compete in 56 games including the Coastal Carolina Invitational on March 6-9.

The Invite will take place at TicketReturn.com Field, home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, and CCU. Toledo opens the tournament with a showdown against Michigan State on March 6 and a matchup against Michigan the following day. Continue reading Toledo releases 2015 Schedule

2014 MAC Preseason Coaches Poll

macCLEVELAND, Ohio – 2013 Regular Season Champion Kent State was picked to repeat as MAC East Division & Tournament Champions, the Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday. Ball State, last year’s MAC Tournament runner-up was picked to win the West Division. The Flashes garnered four votes to win this year’s MAC Tournament, while Ball State garnered three votes to win the Tournament crown and NCAA automatic bid. Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Miami and Toledo each received one vote to win the Tournament. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s 12 Head Coaches. Toledo releases 2014 Schedule

CoryMeeToledoTOLEDO, OH – The Toledo baseball team will compete in 57 games over the course of its 2014 campaign, head coach Cory Mee announced on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Highlighting the Rockets’ slate will be four matchups against three teams that advanced to the 2013 College World Series and a total of seven contests against squads that participated in the 2013 NCAA Regionals. Toledo releases 2013 Schedule

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo baseball program will compete in 56 games over the course of its 2013 campaign, Head Coach Cory Mee announced on Friday, Dec. 7. Fifteen of the contests will take place at the friendly confines of Scott Park. The Rockets were 13-7 in home contests a season ago and sport an impressive 82-50 (.621) ledger at the corner of Parkside Blvd. and Hill Ave. over the last seven seasons. 2012 MAC Preseason Coaches Poll Released

Cleveland, Ohio – Defending MAC Regular Season and Tournament Champion Kent State and defending MAC West Division Champion Central Michigan have been chosen by the league’s head coaches to win their respective divisions, released today by the league office. TOLEDO, OH – The University of Toledo baseball program will compete in 55 games over the course of its 2012 season, Head Coach Cory Mee announced today. Twenty of the contests will take place at the friendly confines of Scott Park. The Rockets were an impressive 13-2 in home games a season ago and sport a 69-43 ledger at the corner of Parkside Blvd. and Hill Ave. over the last six seasons.
