The Texas Longhorns suspended both Corey Knebel and Cameron Cox over the weekend for violation of team rules. As we all know, that is always code for a much deeper story but this one just goes above and beyond being a knucklehead.

We played fairly well on the defensive side of the game. I think we could have swung the bats better.” The Beavers enter the weekend with a .297 team batting average, but will look to improve upon that number against a team in Bryant who has only played three games this season. Oklahoma has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the 2013 Big 12 baseball regular season. In a vote by the league’s head coaches, the Sooners earned six first-place votes, totaling 62 points.
