Big Ten Network releases 2011 Television Schedule

CHICAGO – The Big Ten Network will offer its most extensive baseball and softball coverage ever, with at least 140 events on television or online in 2011. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference has announced its complete 2011 SEC Baseball television schedule, the second under the league’s landmark 15-year agreement with ESPN. The regular-season package will include 54 broadcasts in 2011, up from 46 games in 2010. In addition, all games from the 2011 SEC Tournament will continue to be televised, with the championship game airing again nationally on ESPN2. Including SEC Tournament games, a total of 68 SEC baseball broadcasts will air in 2011 as part of the official SEC package. Continue reading

Big 12 releases 2011 TV Schedule

The Big 12 Conference has announced its 2011 baseball schedule on FSN. Six games, highlighted by the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, will be broadcast.

Eight different schools will be featured on FSN during the regular season, including 2010 College World Series qualifier Oklahoma along with the defending Big 12 regular and postseason champions Texas and Texas A&M, respectively.  Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech will also make appearances. Coverage begins on Saturday, April 23 when the Red Raiders travel to Manhattan, Kan. to face K-State. Continue reading

2011 ACC Baseball Game of the Week TV Schedule

The ACC has released their 2011 ACC Baseball Game of the Week schedule for the upcoming season. The games will be shown on Comcast Sportsnet, Fox Sports Net South, Fox Sports Florida, and NESN. The first game of the season will be on March 26th when Georgia Tech visits Miami which kicks off the seven game schedule. The package will also show the entire 2011 ACC Baseball Tournament on the family of networks. The full TV schedule is listed below. Continue reading

Ole Miss Athletic Director Pat Boone posted multiple tweets on Tuesday afternoon announcing an SEC Baseball Game of the Week on Thursday nights. The tweets posted stated that the SEC will have seven games broadcast on ESPNU with Ole Miss hosting Mississippi State for one of them and heading on the road to face Auburn in the Rebels other appearance. 2010 Big Ten Baseball Television Schedule

BigTenNetworkLogo CHICAGO – The Big Ten Network has nearly doubled its coverage plans for the Big Ten’s baseball and softball seasons. The network will produce at least 102 baseball and softball games for the Big Ten Network or www.BigTenNetwork.com this spring.

The network will nationally televise up to 33 Big Ten baseball games, including the entire Big Ten Baseball Tournament, and stream an additional 20 games for www.BigTenNetwork.com. Twenty Two Big Ten softball games will be televised this spring, plus an additional 29 games for the internet. A selected number of streamed games will be televised on delay through the network’s Student U initiative.

SEC releases 2010 TV Schedule

SECBaseball BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference has announced its 2010 SEC Baseball television schedule, the first under a new 15-year contract with ESPN. The regular-season package will include 46 broadcasts in 2010, up from eight games in 2009. In addition, all games from the 2010 SEC Tournament will continue to be broadcast, with the championship game airing nationally on ESPN2.

Conference USA releases 2010 TV Schedule

ConferenceUSA Conference USA has announced its preliminary baseball television schedule for the 2010 season. The schedule currently features games to appear nationally on CBS College Sports as well as regionally on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS), Bright House Networks and Cox Sports Television. Additional games remain a possibility and will be announced at a later date.

2010 Big 12 Baseball Television Schedule

Big12TVListings The Big 12 Conference has announced its 2010 baseball telecast schedule on FSN. Six games, including the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, are slated for broadcast.

Eight different schools will be featured on FSN during the regular season, including national preseason No. 1 Texas and fellow 2009 NCAA Championship participants Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. Coverage begins on Sunday, March 28 when the Longhorns travel to Texas Tech.

Free Webcasts of NCAA Regionals

One of the biggest innovations in the coverage of college sports over the last few years is the integration of internet video streaming.
