Vincent Citro drove home the game-winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th setting off a celebration 45 years in the making. Siena rallied from an early 7-0 deficit to shock #28 Dallas Baptist and the rest of the College Baseball World with a wild 9-8 victory Saturday at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth, the program’s first in NCAA Tournament play.

FORT WORTH — Travis Lee came up with another big two-out hit, as he drove in the game-winning run in the eighth to give Sam Houston a 2-1 win over Dallas Baptist in the opener of the NCAA Regional. Nathan Kirby tosses No-Hitter as Virginia defeats Pitt 4-0
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Nathan Kirby (So., Midlothian, Va.) threw a no-hitter in the No. 1-ranked Virginia baseball team’s 4-0 victory at Pittsburgh Friday evening at Charles Cost Field. Kirby struck out 18 batters, one off the school and ACC single-game record, in UVa’s first no-hitter since 2011. Rice is coming off a weekend sweep over Purdue followed by a mid-week loss to Sam Houston State; meanwhile, the Longhorns are coming off a series victory over Stanford, and they picked up a mid-week win over UT-Pan America. TCU picked up three wins last weekend in a tournament that included BYU, Texas A&M Corpus Christ, and UTSA, but then they dropped their mid-week game 10-2 to Texas Arlington. The Red Raiders started out the year winning three-out-four against then ranked #3 Indiana. They then went on to sweep a three-game series over Oral Roberts and picked up a mid-week win over BYU.
