FARGO, N.D. – The defending Summit League tournament champion North Dakota State University baseball team announced its 2015 schedule on Thursday, Oct. 16. The 52-game regular season slate includes a pair of contests at Arizona and a home-and-home set with Minnesota.
The Bison open the season Feb. 13-15 with three games in Phoenix, Ariz., against Grand Canyon, Bradley and Omaha, before traveling to Tucson for two games with the Arizona Wildcats on Feb. 17-18. Continue reading
Twenty-one home games at Erv Huether Field and a new Summit League format highlight the 2015 schedule for the South Dakota State University baseball team.
The Jackrabbits, who finished last season with a 28-29 overall record and an 11-11 mark in league play, are slated to open the 2015 season with three games at a tournament hosted by Austin Peay (Tenn.). TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts University baseball coach Ryan Folmar announced the 2015 Golden Eagle baseball schedule on Monday, featuring contests against Big 12 regular season champion Oklahoma State, Missouri Valley Tournament champion Dallas Baptist and College World Series qualifier Texas Tech.

CORVALLIS, Ore. — UC Irvine exploded for five runs in the fifth inning and went on to defeat UNLV, 10-3, in the opening game of the NCAA Corvallis Regional at Goss Stadium Friday afternoon.
“It’s win number one in a regional, so we’re fired up to get that win,” said head coach Mike Gillespie. “It was a combination, as everyone in this room saw, of some big hits and a lot of opportunities. All coaches and all teams take the pledge to just give people three outs per inning, and there were a few free-bees this game, and we were able to capitalize on a few of them.”

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha is favored to repeat as The Summit League baseball regular season champion in a preseason vote among the league’s head coaches.
The Mavericks received three first-place votes and a total of 15 points. South Dakota State came in second with 12 points and one first-place vote while North Dakota State had 10 points for third place. FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State head baseball coach Tod Brown has set a 52-game schedule for the 2014 season including a spring break trip to Florida for the sixth straight year and a 24-game Summit League slate.
North Dakota State opens the season Feb. 21-23 with a three-game series at Southern California before going to Murray State and Northern Colorado for a pair of four-game series. NDSU will play six games against Evansville, LIU Brooklyn, Maine, Army and Harvard in Florida before opening league play. Continue reading
