College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2012 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the countdown today at number 15 with Southern Utah senior Bo Cuthbertson. The Glendale, Arizona native attended Cactus High School where he was a four year letter winner. As a senior, he recorded a .418 average with one home run, two doubles, four triples and 16 stolen bases. He finished his career with a .380 average, one home run, 30 doubles and 30 stolen bases He was also a two-time first-team all-region and honorable mention all-state honoree and a three-time participant at the Arizona state high school all-star game. CEDAR CITY, Utah, Jan. 13 – Southern Utah University’s intercollegiate baseball program will be discontinued following the 2012 season, it was announced today. It was one heck of a weekend for the Pac-10. Coming off of a disastrous 2009 campaign in which only three teams qualified for a Regional and only one made it past the first weekend, the conference came out in a complete 180 in the 2010 season’s opening weekend. As a whole, the Pac-10 went 9-0 on Friday, 10-2 on Saturday and then 6-2 on Sunday for a weekend record of 25-4 with the opponent’s including Rice, Fullerton, Cal Poly, Long Beach St. and Hawaii. After three days of the 2010 season, no team has more than one loss.

ELMHURST, Ill. – After winning its record 12th straight league championship a year ago, Oral Roberts was a unanimous choice to claim its 13th consecutive Summit League crown in 2010 as voted on by the league’s eight head coaches.
The Golden Eagles collected seven first-place votes for a total of 49 points. Centenary came in second with 39 points, followed closely by South Dakota State in the third slot with 36 points and the final first-place vote. Southern Utah (30 points) and North Dakota State (27 points) were each separated by three points apiece for the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Oakland (16 points), IPFW (14 points) and Western Illinois (13 points) rounded out the voting.
