2013 Bloomington NCAA Regional Preview

The Hoosiers (43-14), who took home the Big Ten Championship on Sunday with a 4-3 walk-off victory over Nebraska, will welcome Austin Peay (45-13), Florida (29-28) and Valparaiso (31-26) to Bart Kaufman field on Friday. Southeast Missouri State names Steve Bieser as Head Coach

SEMissouriState_thumb.jpgCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. –Director of Athletics Mark Alnutt named Steve Bieser the head baseball coach at Southeast Missouri State University on Wednesday. Bieser served as the Redhawks interim head coach since July 30, 2012.

Bieser, the fifth head coach in the program’s history, guided Southeast to its league record 19th-consecutive Ohio Valley Conference Tournament berth this season. 2013 Ohio Valley Preseason Coaches Poll

OhioValleyConferenceBRENTWOOD, Tenn. — After winning the Ohio Valley Conference regular season and tournament championships each of the past two years, Austin Peay has been tabbed the 2013 preseason favorite for the 11-team league in a vote of OVC head baseball coaches and sports information directors. In additional voting APSU junior second baseman Jordan Hankins and Tennessee Tech junior first baseman Zach Stephens were named OVC Preseason Co-Players of the Year while Belmont senior lefty Chase Brookshire was tabbed OVC Preseason Pitcher of the Year. Southeast Missouri State releases 2013 Schedule

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri baseball program released their 2013 schedule Thursday afternoon. The Redhawks will play 31 games at Capaha Field this season.

Jacksonville State releases 2013 Schedule

Jacksonville State University head coach Jim Case announced the 2013 baseball schedule on Thursday, which includes home games against in-state rivals Auburn, South Alabama, Samford, Troy and UAB.

Belmont releases 2013 Schedule
