NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — The Matadors of Cal State Northridge swept a doubleheader over Northwestern Saturday afternoon at Matador Field. Northridge came from behind to tie both contests before winning each in its final at bat, including an extra inning walk-off.
In the first game, the Matadors fell behind 3-1 before rallying to tie the game in the fifth inning when Tommy Simis singled home a pair of runs. Northridge scored the game-winning run the next inning when Adam Berry knocked in his second run of the afternoon.

The junior right-hander struggled with his command early, allowing five walks and walking in a run in the third inning, but the Northwestern Wildcats managed only one base hit — a single by Nick Linne to lead off the fourth inning.
