Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Stony Brook University Department of Athletics has unveiled the new 5,000-square foot Seawolves Hitting Facility that will serve the indoor practice needs of the baseball and softball teams. The Seawolves Hitting Facility is located in the Indoor Sports Complex adjacent to Pritchard Gymnasium and was funded by the generous gift of an anonymous donor.
“Our mission at Stony Brook is to provide student-athletes with the tools that they need in order to achieve success in everything that they do,” Director of Athletics Shawn Heilbron said. “The new hitting facility is as nice as any that I’ve seen in the country and is a game-changer for our current and future baseball and softball student-athletes.” Continue reading Stony Brook announces new Hitting Facility
The Tribune in San Luis Obispo, CA had an article last week that the Cal Poly administration has targeted the baseball program’s Baggett Stadium for the next series of renovations in the athletic department.
