Wichita, Kan. (NCBWA) — Forty-five players have been named to the initial watch list for the seventh annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award, given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I baseball, as announced by the association Tuesday.

College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2011 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
Coming in at number 19 on the list is Arizona State junior LHP Mitchell Lambson. The Tualatin, Oregon native attended Tualatin High School where he was a four year letter winner in baseball. Here are the Top Performers in the Cape Cod Baseball League for July 25th. There was only three games played including one doubleheader between Orleans and Falmouth. The other three games on the evening that were rained out will be made up in the near future.
Here is your Cape Cod Baseball League Top Performers for July 13th. There was only three games played tonight with Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox defeating Orleans 3-2. Harwich got a walk-off grand slam from Pratt Maynard to defeat the Hyannis Harbor Hawks 4-3 and the Wareham Gatement defeated the Chatham Anglers 4-1.
Here are the top performers from the Cape Cod Baseball League for July 5th. The best performance of the night was from NC State’s Pratt Maynard who went 3-4 with 2 runs, 2 BB, and 3 RBI. The pitching again wasn’t outstanding with Arizona State’s Mitchell Lambson pitching 2 no-hit innings. You can check out the full list of players below.
