College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2013 college baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be adding players day-by-day until we get to number one!
Number 47 on our Top 100 Countdown is Oklahoma’s Max White. The 6’1 center fielder from Durant, Oklahoma was a 2012 First Team All-Big 12 selection.
During his freshman season in 2010, White appeared in 62 games for the Sooners, 52 of which he started. Throughout the season, White posted a batting average of .293 with 15 home runs and 43 RBI. His success earned him a variety of awards including being named honorable mention All-Big 12 as well as a Freshman All-American by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA. During his sophomore season, White appeared in 46 games in which he posted a batting average of .286 with 11 doubles and 20 RBI. Read the rest of this entry »
