Number 7 on our Top 100 Countdown is North Carolina’s Kent Emanuel. The 6’4 left-handed pitcher from Woodstock, Georgia was selected in the 19th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Continue reading

College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2012 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.

We continue the countdown today at number 54 with North Carolina sophomore LHP Kent Emanuel. The 6’4 205 pounder out of Woodstock High School and Woodstock, Georgia was named All-county, all-region and all-state selection as a senior. The Pittsburgh Pirates drafted in the 19th round in the 2010 MLB Draft but he decided to head to North Carolina to continue his baseball career. Continue reading
