The Cotuit Kettleers won the 2010 Cape Cod Baseball League title by grabbing a 6-0 victory over Yarmouth-Dennis to win Game 3 of the CCBL Championship Series. Brady Rodgers (Arizona State) started for the Kettleers going on 2.1 innings while giving up three hits and two walks but let up zero runs before being lifted for Nick Tropeano (Stony Brook). Tropeano would pitch the rest of the game for the Kettleers without giving up a hit while walking three batters to pick up the win.

SOUTH YARMOUTH —- The Cotuit Kettleers rode the arm of Matt Andriese (Cal Riverside) to a 3-0 win over Yarmouth-Dennis on Wednesday in Game 1 of the best-of-three Cape Cod Baseball League Championship Series at Red Wilson Field.
Andriese pitched a complete-game shutout to put his team one win away from the title. The series switches to Lowell Park for Thursday’s Game 2.

COCA COLA PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Austin Wood, Cotuit RHP
Cotuit swept this week’s pair of awards, as Kettleers ace Austin Wood (St. Petersburg) was named Coca Cola Pitcher of the Week for the second time. Wood, who started and threw a scoreless inning for the Western Division in this year’s All-Star game, previously had captured the honor in the fifth week of the season.
The Cape Cod Baseball League hosted the 2010 All-Star Game at Fenway Park on Wednesday evening. The Western Division picked up a 5-0 victory over the East behind a strong pitching performance from the Western Division All-Stars. The Cape Cod Baseball League will play the All-Star Game on Wednesday night at 7pm. The coaches have put out their starting lineup for the game and announced the starting pitchers. Austin Wood from St. Petersburg and the Cotuit Kettleers will get the ball for the Western Division while Andrew Gagnon from Long Beach State and the Brewster White caps will get the ball for the Eastern Division. The marquee collegiate summer league all-star game will take place on July 28th from Fenway Park in Boston Massachusetts with the Cape Cod Baseball League All Star Game.
